Abisola K.
Gbadamosi

Abisola Kuburat Gbadamosi is a self-taught Nigerian multidisciplinary artist whose work explores light, color, spirituality, and loss. After losing both parents at a young age, she turned to art as therapy to process complex emotions. Through watercolor portraits, Gbadamosi captures ethereal states of consciousness, blending grief with spiritual reflections, and embodying her journey toward healing and self-expression.
Her belief in the spirituality of life and the connection between the physical and divine realms is central to her art. Gbadamosi views Heaven as an experience possible on Earth, using her work to explore the shifting planes of consciousness. As her mind transitions, so too does her art, reflecting the profound influence of the mind on one's life journey.
Navigating the balance between her African roots and her quest for authenticity, Gbadamosi’s art challenges viewers to reconnect with their inner selves and awaken their consciousness. What began as a means of expressing pain has evolved into a tool for personal truth, inspiring others to explore their own paths.
